According to the 2010 census there were 308,745,538 in the US. And this is where they live.

It's amazing to see this representation of how densely populated the East coast is and how it gradually disperses as you move west.

This is the original homestead that my wife's family built almost 150 years ago in Michigan.  It's still in the family, and they still run a dairy farm there.  Pretty amazing.

Since when are we NOT allowed to photograph the outside of government buildings? 

I was just told to put my camera and tripod away after trying to photograph several different buildings in Arlington, Virginia, with the explanation from an armed security guard that "This is a government building."

Does it make me a libertarian that I'm annoyed by this?
