I often find it strange when building stands on a little sloppy street. I have doubts what should be made horizontal building or the street, and with neither of them I am satisfied. ;)

If I had a tripod I would have probably taken a long exposure picture of it, it would look great. But I did not, so it was short exposure. It is worth mentioning, that it is one of not so many pictures from Madrid that I did not convert to black and white.

It almost looked like real, if I could move a bit to the left and still see the whole reflection it could have been even more complete (the car). Now the part around windscreen looks strange.

When I look at a picture like this I think about Will Smith's song "just the two of us". But regarding the picture itself, a friend of mine noticed that there is a really many contrasts in this picture. First of all the clothes, and height of both father and son, etc.

I try to take pictures in a way that as little corrections had to be made on my computer. It is also regarding the horizontal/vertical lines. I prefer to crop the picture than to have tilt it a bit, but this one I corrected it a bit vertically so all the windows were straight. Hope it is not visible or that I did not over do it. ;)

As I said in my previous post, I love to take pictures of/at train stations. I think it might be because usually they are long in one dimension, and one can make some use of the depth of field. Moreover, there are also plenty of people to photograph.

You do not see many homeless/begging people in Madrid, although I have seen a tent almost in the centre of the city [sic!]. What you can see in the picture are two girls sharing cakes they had with a begging guy. I do not know Spanish, so I could not read what was on the card he held in front of him.

I like to take pictures of people in the street. But still I did not get out of my comfort zone to come and ask may I take picture. So most of them are taken from a side or longer distance. Maybe I just did not make many portraits of the people I know, and I do not have enough confidence in taking those? Who knows...

Madrid seemed to be quite clean city. I've heard that it does not have to be the case of the people, no offence, but he cleaning service is pretty good. In Poland if you had a football match they would start to clean after the event. There, they start doing so as soon as supporters get to the stadium, and finish some time after the event. I walked about 100km during two and a half day, so I may say I've seen at least a part of the city. ;)

Glass creates a lot of opportunities for nice reflections, and I do not mean Google Glass but glass in general. And converting picture into black and white makes it even more interesting, as colours from behind the glass get a bit less distracting.

Auto enhance

I did not know where to turn off the auto-enhance feature everyone was talking about. I thought it was somewhere in the upload window but I did not see it. Finally, I found it in Home > Settings > Goolge+ under Photos somewhere at the bottom. Turned it off.

I had big problems with levelling the pictures from Madird. It often felt that something is not horizontal when it should be. Mostly because the ground was not in line with anything else, or balcony was not in level with the window. Still, some pictures looked nice.

Running away from the rain

In Madrid I did not expect to see so many people running away from the rain. Maybe because I got used to the rain in the UK, and I not run away myself. Most of the times the rain here (in the UK) is just a drizzle, so you do not even need an umbrella.
